Okay, so we all know that Tahoe has the highest concentration of ski resorts outside of the Alps. Which makes a logical case for Tahoe having one of the highest concentration of athletes on the U.S. Olympic team.

P.S. Many past Tahoe athletes have won Olympic medals as well as many medals in World Cup races and at the X Games, but of the current U.S. Team, it is worth noting that Julia Mancuso won a Gold medal in 2006 and two Silvers in 2010 (Her four-Olympic medals is the most ever for a U.S. female skier).
Hannah Teter also brought home a Gold in 2006 and a Silver in 2010.
